FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for sports?

While they feature athletic technology like ADIPRENE+, they are primarily designed as lifestyle trainers rather than high-performance professional sports gear.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the suede upper and compromise the structural adhesives. Use hand-cleaning methods only.

What is the Torsion system?

The Torsion system is a lightweight bridge that allows the forefoot and rearfoot to move independently, providing better surface adaptation and stability.

Are these shoes waterproof?

No, suede is naturally porous. While a repellent spray provides some protection, they are not waterproof.

How do I ensure the correct fit for my child?

Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural growth and movement.

Troubleshooting

Visible dirt on suede upper

Allow the mud to dry completely and gently brush it away with a soft suede brush.

Shoes feel tight after a growth spurt

The Torsion system and suede material are flexible, but if movement is restricted, the child has likely outgrown the size and a larger pair is required.

Laces coming untied frequently

Ensure a double knot is used, or consider replacing with elastic no-tie laces if the child struggles with traditional tying.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Durable construction suitable for active children
Excellent arch and midfoot support
Iconic vintage style
Soft and flexible material for comfort

Cons

Suede material is prone to staining
Light cream details may show dirt easily
Not intended for deep wet conditions

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These trainers are designed for an immediate, comfortable fit out of the box. Since the exterior is made of premium suede, avoid soaking the shoes in water or using harsh detergents. To maintain the appearance, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dry dirt or mud after use. If the suede becomes matted, a dedicated suede eraser can help restore the nap. It is recommended to apply a suede-specific water repellent spray before the first wear to protect against light spills and environmental debris. Keep them stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
