Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your Boston sandals, ensure the buckle is tightened to a position that holds your foot securely without causing pressure points. Since the footbed is made of natural cork, it is sensitive to extreme heat; avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or near heaters to prevent the material from drying out. To clean the suede, use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt and keep the nap looking fresh. Avoid soaking the shoes in water, as excessive moisture can damage the suede and the internal structural adhesives. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air dry slowly at room temperature away from artificial heat sources.
