Troubleshooting

Stiff materials upon first wear

Leather and suede can take time to break in. Wear the shoes for short periods initially to allow them to mold to your feet.

Red dye transfer on white socks

This can occur with new footwear, especially when wet. Ensure the shoes are completely dry before wearing. Washing new socks separately might also help.

Sole separation or minor damage

For minor issues like small sole lifts, a specialized shoe adhesive can be used. For significant damage, professional repair or replacement may be necessary.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Stylish design with a retro basketball aesthetic.
Constructed with quality leather, suede, and synthetic materials.
The adjustable midfoot strap offers a secure and customizable fit.
Versatile color scheme with red accents that add a pop of color.
Comfortable for casual, everyday wear.

Cons

May not be suitable for specialized athletic performance.
The white and red colorway might require more diligent cleaning.
Limited availability in specific sizes or color variations outside the 'Candy Cane' theme.
As a fashion-oriented shoe, it may not offer the advanced cushioning or support of modern performance sneakers.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

As footwear, the adidas Forum 84 Low Candy Cane requires no setup. Simply lace them up and secure the midfoot strap for a custom fit.

Compatibility:

These shoes are designed for general adult use and are compatible with a wide range of casual apparel. They are best suited for dry to mildly damp conditions. For prolonged exposure to heavy rain or snow, protective sprays are recommended.

Care:

Cleaning: Use a soft brush or cloth to remove surface dirt. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and a damp cloth, then wipe clean with a dry cloth. Avoid machine washing.
Drying: Air dry shoes naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuffing with paper can help maintain their shape during drying.
