The Jordan Aj1 Mid trainers are an excellent choice for active kids who want a blend of iconic basketball heritage and reliable daily performance. Featuring high-quality leather construction and a supportive mid-height collar, these shoes provide the stability needed for growing feet during play or school activities. One caveat to keep in mind is that the leather material requires consistent care to maintain its appearance, particularly if worn frequently on outdoor playgrounds.

While they feature basketball-inspired design, they are primarily casual trainers and are best suited for everyday play and school rather than intensive competitive sports.
Refer to the UK sizing system. It is recommended to leave about half an inch of room for growth in children's footwear.
No, machine washing can compromise the structural integrity of the leather and the adhesives used in the cupsole. Always clean them by hand.
The Mid series offers a middle-ground height that provides more ankle coverage than a low-top but is less restrictive than a traditional high-top.
The leather upper provides some protection, but these are not waterproof trainers and should be avoided in heavy rain or deep puddles.
Use a gentle leather conditioner or a damp cloth to buff the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Double-knot the laces or swap for elastic no-tie laces if the child struggles with traditional knots.
Use a clean, dry toothpick or a soft-bristled toothbrush to carefully dislodge debris.
Because these are children's trainers, ensure the correct sizing is verified using the UK scale provided. To maintain the leather's condition, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth after use to remove dust or mud. Avoid soaking the shoes in water, as this can damage the leather finish and affect the glue. For stubborn stains on the rubber sole, a soft-bristled brush with mild soap can be used. Always store the trainers in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the leather from cracking over time.
