Yes, the Air Jordan 1 Mid series typically fits true to size for most children.
While they are inspired by basketball heritage, they are categorized as lifestyle trainers and are best suited for daily wear rather than intense competitive sports.
Allow the mud to dry completely, then gently brush it off with a soft brush before wiping with a damp cloth.
The mid-top structure is quite supportive, but the leather material has limited stretch compared to mesh, so those with very wide feet may prefer trying them on with thin socks first.
No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and the leather material. Always clean by hand.
High-quality leather is durable, but excessive exposure to direct, intense sunlight can fade the pigments over long periods.
This is a natural occurrence with leather trainers; use shoe trees when not in use to help maintain the shape.
If the child struggles, ensure the laces are unthreaded through the top eyelets initially to provide more opening space.
Gently rub the area with a leather-safe cleaning wipe or a soft eraser if the scuff is on a white section of the outsole.
To ensure the longevity of your Jordan Air Jordan 1 Mid trainers, proper care is essential. Always loosen the laces fully before helping a child step into the shoe to prevent unnecessary stress on the heel counter. For cleaning, use a soft cloth or a specialized leather cleaner to wipe away dirt. Avoid fully submerging the leather in water, as this can lead to stiffening or discolouration. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack over time. If the laces become frayed, replace them with standard flat athletic laces to maintain the proper tension.
