Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started
Using your Puma Flexfocus Lite Modern shoes is straightforward:
- Lacing: Ensure a snug but not overly tight fit. Experiment with different lacing techniques to find what's most comfortable for your foot shape.
- Socks: Wear appropriate running socks to enhance comfort, manage moisture, and prevent blisters.
Compatibility
- Activity: Best suited for road running, track workouts, gym sessions, and casual everyday wear.
- Surfaces: Optimized for paved roads, treadmills, and tracks. Avoid highly technical trails or abrasive surfaces to maximize shoe life.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the life and maintains the performance of your running shoes:
- Cleaning:
- Gently wipe dirt off the upper with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents.
- For the sole, use a soft brush to remove mud and debris.
- Do *not* machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Drying: After runs, especially in wet conditions, remove insoles and allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Rotation: If you run frequently, consider rotating between two pairs of shoes to allow each pair to fully dry out and recover between runs, which can prolong their lifespan.
