No, this gilet is made of microfleece and is not waterproof. It is best used as an insulating layer under a shell jacket during wet weather.
While the fleece provides some warmth, it is breathable and will not block strong winds. It is recommended to wear a windproof outer layer in exposed conditions.
The gilet follows standard UK dress sizes. It is designed for a layering fit; if you plan to wear thick sweaters underneath, you may prefer your standard size.
It is highly recommended to air dry the item to prevent shrinkage and maintain the integrity of the anti-pill fabric.
The product includes a 2-year warranty for quality-related issues, ensuring peace of mind for your purchase.
While the anti-pill treatment is robust, use a dedicated fabric shaver to gently remove any minor surface fibers caused by friction.
Ensure no fleece fibers are caught in the teeth; if it remains stiff, rub a lead pencil or a bar of soap along the zipper teeth to act as a lubricant.
The gilet requires no setup—simply wear it over your chosen base layer. For compatibility, it functions best when paired with a moisture-wicking synthetic or merino wool long-sleeve top.
