No, this garment is made of microfleece and is not treated for water resistance. It is intended to be worn as a mid-layer under a waterproof shell.
It is highly recommended to air dry this garment. High heat from a tumble dryer can cause the fleece fibers to shrink or lose their anti-pill qualities.
Anti-pill refers to a fabric treatment that reduces the formation of small balls of fiber (pills) on the surface of the fleece caused by rubbing and abrasion.
The Camber Gilet follows standard UK dress sizes. It is designed with an active fit, so if you prefer to wear it over bulky sweaters, you may want to size up.
The Camber Gilet features a standard hem design intended to sit comfortably at the hip without needing manual adjustments.
While anti-pill, heavy friction can cause minor surface issues. Use a fabric shaver to gently remove any surface lint and restore a smooth finish.
Ensure no fabric fibers are trapped in the zipper track. If it persists, use a pencil lead to lubricate the teeth of the zipper.
To ensure the longevity of your Camber Gilet, follow these care instructions: machine wash the garment on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the breathable properties of the microfleece. It is recommended to air dry the gilet to maintain its shape and fabric integrity. For sizing, ensure you consult the UK dress size chart provided by Mountain Warehouse, as this fleece is tailored for an athletic, snug fit to maximize its insulating efficiency when worn under outer shells.
