The Puma Deviate Nitro 4 running shoes are engineered for adult male runners seeking enhanced speed and energy return on asphalt. Their key benefit lies in the combination of a PWRPLATE carbon plate for propulsion and NITROFOAM™ cushioning for maximum comfort, making them ideal for training and speed sessions. A potential caveat for some runners might be the 8mm drop, which is a specific preference for neutral runners.

These shoes are designed for adult male neutral runners seeking efficiency and energy return, particularly for training and speed sessions on asphalt.
The PWRPLATE carbon plate provides a propulsive feel and flexibility, enhancing the shoe's ability to aid in efficient toe-off and increase running speed.
They feature maximum cushioning with NITROFOAM™, offering a comfortable and responsive ride with a midsole height of 38 mm in the heel and 30 mm in the forefoot.
The shoes are very lightweight, weighing approximately 250g.
The heel-to-toe drop is 8mm.
These shoes are optimized for asphalt and road running. They are not recommended for trail running as they lack the specific features for off-road terrain.
Clean them gently with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents and do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Ensure you have the correct size. Try wearing thinner socks or lacing the shoes differently to adjust pressure points. If discomfort persists after a break-in period, consider an alternative model.
Over time, cushioning can degrade. Ensure you are not exceeding the recommended mileage for optimal performance. Inspect the midsole for signs of wear.
The outsole is designed for asphalt. For optimal grip, avoid running on very wet or slippery surfaces. Ensure the outsole is free from debris.
Setup: These running shoes require no specific setup. Simply ensure they fit correctly for optimal comfort and performance. It is recommended to wear them for a short period initially to allow your feet to adapt.
Compatibility: The Puma Deviate Nitro 4 is designed for neutral runners and is most compatible with road running. They are intended for adult use and are suitable for training and speed sessions.
