Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results with Mylands Dead Matt paint, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease before application.
- Preparation: For the most durable and flawless result, we strongly recommend using the Mylands White Primer and Undercoat. This creates an even base and significantly improves paint adhesion.
- Application: Use high-quality brushes or rollers. Apply in thin, even coats to ensure proper drying times and avoid sagging.
- Compatibility: This paint is highly compatible with the wider Mylands range. Use it in conjunction with their other archive colours for a cohesive design scheme.
- Care: Because dead matt surfaces are delicate, avoid aggressive scrubbing. If cleaning is necessary, use a soft cloth with a mild, non-abrasive detergent solution, and always test in an inconspicuous area first.
