Yes, a Dark Grey Primer and Undercoat is essential for this deep pigment to achieve its full, rich color intensity.
While the paint is durable and washable, it is designed for living spaces; we recommend checking ventilation levels if using in humid environments.
Yes, it is a water-based, low VOC, and eco-friendly paint.
It is typically touch-dry within a few hours, but we recommend waiting at least 4 hours between coats and 14 days for a full cure.
It features a Marble Matt finish, which offers a smooth, sophisticated, and non-reflective appearance.
Yes, due to its matte nature, small touch-ups blend relatively well, though it is best to keep a small amount of paint from the original batch.
This often occurs if the base was not properly primed; apply a coat of Dark Grey Primer and re-apply the emulsion.
Ensure the paint has had a full 14 days to cure completely before attempting wet cleaning.
Use a high-quality synthetic brush and avoid overworking the paint; apply in smooth, overlapping strokes.
Before application, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease. Using a Dark Grey Primer and Undercoat is highly recommended to achieve the true density of the Mayfair Dark 218 pigment. Apply using a high-quality brush or roller designed for water-based emulsions. For maintenance, simply wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners to preserve the integrity of the marble-infused finish.
