While it is a multi-surface paint designed for trim and woodwork, it is typically best suited for non-porous surfaces like wood and metal rather than large wall areas.
If you are painting over raw wood or metal, a high-quality primer is recommended to ensure longevity and even coverage.
This formula is quick-drying; however, it is best to wait at least 4 hours before applying a second coat.
Yes, once fully cured, the eggshell finish is durable and can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth.
No, this specific product is formulated for interior use. Please check for Mylands masonry paint options for exterior projects.
Apply thinner coats and use a high-quality synthetic brush; avoid over-working the paint as it begins to dry.
Ensure the metal surface is degreased and primed with a suitable metal primer before applying the paint.
Deep pigments often require at least two full coats to achieve true color depth; ensure uniform application.
Before starting, ensure all surfaces are free from dust, grease, and loose paint. If painting over previously glossed wood, lightly sand the area to improve adhesion. Apply in thin, even coats, allowing sufficient drying time between layers. Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use. When cleaning the finished surface, use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap; avoid abrasive sponges that could dull the eggshell sheen.
