Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Use: Upon first receiving your Regatta Amble Boots, ensure they fit comfortably with appropriate walking socks. There's no specific 'setup' required beyond lacing them securely.
Compatibility: These boots are designed for children within the 'Junior' age group, with specific sizes like 'UK Junior 10' available. They are a unisex product, suitable for all children. They are compatible with various outdoor activities, school wear, and general everyday use, providing essential foot protection.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: After use, especially if muddy, brush off loose dirt. Wipe the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals which can damage the material and the ISOTEX membrane.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not force dry them with direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers), as this can damage the waterproof membrane and synthetic materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Waterproofing: While equipped with an ISOTEX membrane, periodic treatment with a suitable waterproof spray for synthetic materials can help maintain the outer water repellency and prolong the life of the boot. Ensure the spray is safe for breathable membranes.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
