Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces, insert your foot, and then tighten the laces from bottom to top, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. The regular fit accommodates a wide range of foot shapes.
- Tongue Placement: Once laced, fold the tongue down over the laces. Ensure it lies flat and creates a smooth surface for striking the ball. This is a key feature for achieving a clean strike.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. The rubber outsole with multiple small studs provides optimal grip and durability on synthetic pitches. Using them on natural grass (FG), firm ground (FG), or indoor courts (IC) is not recommended as it can compromise performance, damage the boots, and potentially lead to injury due to inadequate traction.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris using a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher grime, use a mild soap solution and gently wipe the upper and outsole. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape. Avoid storing them in damp environments to prevent mildew.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the laces for wear and replace them if necessary. Inspect the outsole for any signs of excessive wear, especially if playing frequently.
