FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the Lugg Skywander?
The Lugg Skywander measures 75cm x 49cm x 29cm.
Is the Lugg Skywander suitable for carry-on?
No, at 28 inches (75cm), this suitcase is generally too large for carry-on baggage and is intended for checked luggage.
How do I set the combination for the TSA lock?
Refer to the specific instructions provided with your suitcase. Typically, you'll set the dials to the default code (e.g., 0-0-0), press a reset button, set your new code, and then release the button.
Can the Lugg Skywander withstand rough handling?
The suitcase is made of durable ABS material designed to withstand typical travel conditions. However, extreme force or mishandling can still cause damage.
What does 'water-resistant coating' mean?
It means the suitcase can resist water penetration to a certain degree, offering protection against light rain or splashes. It is not waterproof, so prolonged exposure to heavy rain may still allow moisture to seep in.
How do I clean the exterior of the suitcase?
Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher dirt, use a mild soap and water mixture, then wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely.
What is the warranty period for the Lugg Skywander?
Please refer to the product packaging or the Lugg official website for specific warranty information, as it may vary.
Troubleshooting
TSA lock is stuck or won't open
Ensure you are using the correct combination. If you have forgotten your combination, refer to the lock's manual for a reset procedure or contact the manufacturer. Sometimes a gentle jiggle while turning the dials can help.
Telescopic handle is stiff or won't retract
Check for any obstructions in the handle mechanism. Try to extend and retract it fully several times. If the issue persists, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant might help, applied carefully to the sliders.
Swivel wheels are difficult to turn or noisy
Inspect the wheels for tangled hair, string, or debris. Clean the wheel housing and axle. If the noise persists, the wheel bearings may need lubrication or replacement.
Exterior surface has minor scratches
Minor scratches are typical for ABS luggage. You can try a plastic polish or a magic eraser gently on the affected area to minimize their appearance. For deeper scratches, consider using a colored wax or touch-up paint suitable for plastics.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
Upon receiving your Lugg Skywander, ensure all protective films are removed. The TSA lock typically comes in a default setting (often 0-0-0). Refer to the lock's specific instructions, usually found with the product tag or online, to set your personal combination.
Compatibility:
This 28-inch suitcase is designed to meet the size requirements for checked baggage on most major airlines, including easyJet, British Airways, RyanAir, Virgin Atlantic, and Emirates. It is generally not intended for use as a carry-on due to its dimensions (75cm x 49cm x 29cm).
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt and marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
- Storage: Store the suitcase in a cool, dry place. If stacking, place lighter items inside heavier ones to prevent damage.
- Wheels & Handle: Periodically check that the wheels rotate freely and the telescopic handle extends and retracts smoothly. Clean any debris from the wheel mechanisms.
