Product Information

Full details

These adidas Kids Predator League Tongue SG football boots are designed for young players looking to enhance their goal-scoring ability. They offer a blend of comfort, control, and traction for soft ground pitches, helping budding strikers make every shot count. A potential caveat is that they are specifically designed for soft ground, so performance may vary on harder surfaces. Key features include the Nanostrike upper for precise striking, the Strikeframe soleplate for agility, and Powerspine technology for stability during shots.

FAQs

What type of surface are these boots designed for?

These boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) pitches, which are typically wet and muddy.

How do I ensure a secure fit?

Use the lace closure system to adjust the fit to your preference. The fold-over tongue with a strap also contributes to a secure feel.

Can I change the studs?

Yes, these boots come with removable studs and a stud wrench, allowing you to adapt to different soft ground conditions or replace worn studs.

What is Nanostrike technology?

Nanostrike technology refers to the advanced striking area on the upper, which combines mesh with a haptic overlay to give players enhanced control and accuracy when shooting.

How should I clean my football boots?

Wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth after each use and allow them to air dry naturally away from heat. Avoid machine washing.

Are these boots suitable for all foot shapes?

The boots feature a regular fit and a lace closure system, which generally accommodates a variety of foot shapes. However, individual comfort may vary.

What is the benefit of Powerspine technology?

Powerspine technology provides midfoot stability, which helps to optimize power transfer when a player strikes the ball, leading to stronger shots.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel uncomfortable or too tight

Loosen the laces and re-adjust for a more comfortable fit. Ensure the correct size has been selected. Consider using the boots for shorter periods initially to break them in.

Poor traction on the pitch

Verify that the correct studs for soft ground are installed and securely tightened. Ensure the pitch conditions match the intended use (soft, wet ground).

Difficulty inserting or removing studs

Use the provided stud wrench and ensure it is properly seated in the stud. Apply gentle, steady pressure. If a stud is damaged or jammed, contact customer support.

Excessive deformation of the boot during shots

Ensure the laces are securely tied and the Powerspine technology is functioning as intended. The boot is designed to optimize power transfer, but extreme deformation may indicate an issue with fit or a manufacturing defect.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Enhances striking precision and control
Provides excellent traction on soft ground
Offers stability for powerful shots
Comfortable and durable construction for active play
Adaptable with removable studs for various conditions

Cons

Best suited for soft ground surfaces only
Lace closure may require adjustment during play
Weight not specified, potentially a factor for some users
Midsole drop not specified, may affect feel for some players

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Ensure the boots fit snugly but comfortably. The lace closure allows for a customizable fit. For optimal performance on soft ground, ensure the appropriate studs are securely fastened. A stud wrench is included for easy insertion and removal.

Compatibility: These boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) football pitches, which are typically wet and muddy. They are not recommended for use on firm or artificial ground, as this can affect performance and potentially damage the studs or soleplate.

Care: After use, clean the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Inspect studs regularly for wear and tear. For cleaning the upper, use a mild soap and water solution if necessary, and avoid machine washing.
