Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Boston clogs last, keep the following in mind:
- Fitting: Ensure the adjustable strap is set so your foot feels secure but not restricted. Your toes should not touch the front edge when standing.
- Break-in Period: Wear the clogs for short periods initially to allow the footbed to adapt to your stride.
- Cleaning: Gently brush the suede with a soft suede brush to remove surface dirt. If necessary, use a specialized suede cleaner.
- Storage: Store your clogs in a cool, dry area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can dry out the cork and cause it to crack.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the outsole for debris and ensure the cork edges are not drying out.
