Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure food safety, all jars should be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized in boiling water or an oven-sterilization process before filling. When filling, leave a small amount of headspace at the top to allow for expansion if freezing or heating. The metal lids should be tightened by hand to ensure the seal is engaged. For cleaning, it is recommended to wash the glass jars in warm, soapy water; the metal lids should be kept dry and washed by hand to prevent long-term corrosion or oxidation of the silver finish.
