Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon receiving your Mizuno Monarcida Neo III boots, it's recommended to wear them for a few short sessions before full match play to 'break them in.' This allows the synthetic upper to adapt to your foot's shape. The zigzag lacing system can be adjusted to achieve your preferred snugness, ensuring the ZeroGlide sockliner provides maximum foot hold.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are best suited for natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on other surfaces, such as artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor courts, may compromise performance, durability, and could potentially invalidate any warranty. They are designed for adult players across various positions due to their balanced attributes of control, speed, and stability.
Care
Proper care will extend the lifespan and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. If necessary, gently wash with mild soap and water, then wipe clean.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives. Stuffing with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and material degradation.
- Sockliner: The ZeroGlide sockliner is removable; occasionally take it out to air dry separately and clean if needed.
- General: Always refer to the specific product label inside the boot for any detailed care instructions provided by Mizuno.
