Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove your new Puma King Ultimate Rush boots from their packaging.
- First Fit: Due to the knitted low-cut slip-on construction, gently ease your foot into the boot. The regular fit should provide a snug yet comfortable feel. Walk around to ensure the fit is correct.
- Break-in: Like all high-performance footwear, a short break-in period during light training sessions is recommended to allow the boots to adapt to your foot shape.
Compatibility:
These boots feature an FG/AG outsole, making them suitable for:
- Firm Natural Surfaces (FG): Such as dry, natural grass pitches.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Specifically modern 4G artificial turf pitches.
*Avoid using on extremely hard ground, concrete, or indoor courts, as this can damage the studs and outsole.*
Care & Maintenance:
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your King Ultimate Rush boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the K-BETTER upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose to direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (e.g., radiators), as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, away from direct sunlight.
- Sockliner: The lightweight removable sockliner with NanoGrip technology can be removed for separate cleaning and airing if needed. Hand wash gently if necessary.
- Inspection: Regularly check studs for wear and tear. While durable, excessive use on incompatible surfaces can accelerate wear.
