No, the Firm Ground (FG) soleplate is specifically designed for firm, natural grass pitches. Using them on artificial turf can cause damage and reduce performance.
Wipe gently with a damp cloth after removing excess dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing to preserve the haptic technology and material integrity.
Powerspine technology provides midfoot stability, which helps reduce foot deformation upon striking the ball, leading to more optimized power transfer and stronger shots.
The boots have a regular fit. While the floating tongue and lacing offer some adjustability, players with significantly wide feet may find them snug. Trying them on is recommended.
The Strikeframe soleplate is lightweight and features aggressive fang studs combined with an ergonomic heel counter. This design promotes agility, efficient movement, and optimal traction for quick plays and directional changes.
FG stands for Firm Ground. It indicates that the boot's soleplate and stud configuration are optimized for playing on firm, natural grass surfaces.
Ensure laces are not overtightened. Try adjusting the lacing pattern or using the floating tongue without the strap for a slightly looser fit. If the issue persists, the boots might not be the correct width for your foot.
The FG soleplate is optimized for firm ground. Performance on very wet or muddy pitches may be reduced. Consider switching to an SG (Soft Ground) boot for such conditions.
Inspect the stitching closely. Minor fraying can occur with heavy use, but significant unraveling may indicate a manufacturing defect. Contact customer support if the issue is substantial.
Ensure the tongue is correctly positioned before lacing up. The foldover tongue with strap is designed to help keep it in place; ensure this is secured properly.
Setup: These boots feature a regular fit with a lace closure. The floating tongue is designed for easy step-in. For a cleaner striking surface, the foldover tongue can be secured with its strap. Ensure laces are tied securely but comfortably.
Compatibility: The Firm Ground (FG) soleplate is designed for use on firm, natural grass pitches. Using these boots on artificial turf or hard, wet ground can lead to premature wear and reduced performance.
Care: After each use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush or dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Do not machine wash or soak the boots. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight. Store them in a cool, dry place. Inspect studs regularly for wear and tear.
