No, it is recommended to spot-clean the New Balance 740 trainers with a damp cloth and mild soap to protect the mesh and foam materials.
Yes, they generally follow standard UK children's sizing. If the child has wide feet, consider testing them with the socks they intend to wear.
Because of the open mesh upper, they are not waterproof and are best suited for dry conditions.
The upper is constructed primarily from polyester-based mesh and synthetic overlays.
The segmented midsole offers basic cushioning and support suitable for growing children during casual daily wear.
Yes, the internal insoles are typically removable if you need to insert custom orthotics.
Ensure a double knot is used during active play or consider replacing with elasticated laces if the child struggles with tying.
Use a soft toothbrush and mild detergent to spot-clean the mesh; avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the textile.
Wipe the bottom of the soles with a damp cloth to remove any debris or dust that may be reducing grip.
These trainers come ready to wear with a standard lace-up closure for an adjustable, secure fit. To ensure longevity, avoid putting them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the adhesive and structural integrity. Instead, gently scrub the upper with a soft brush, mild soap, and warm water. For the outsole, wipe away dirt with a damp cloth after outdoor play to maintain traction and prevent material staining.
