FAQs

What age range is this shirt recommended for?

This shirt is part of the 'PUMA Youth' range, generally recommended for older kids between 8 and 16 years. However, the specific size XS corresponds to UK children's size 7-8, so checking the size chart is advised.

Is this shirt suitable for professional football matches?

This is a replica home shirt designed for fans to wear during training, casual activities, or to show support. It is not the same performance-level kit used by professional players.

How does the dryCELL technology work?

dryCELL is PUMA's designation for moisture-wicking properties in its fabrics. It draws sweat away from your skin to the fabric's outer surface, where it can evaporate, helping you stay dry and comfortable.

What does 'RE:FIBRE' fabric mean?

RE:FIBRE signifies that the shirt is made using PUMA's initiative to recycle excess textiles and reduce plastic waste, contributing to a more sustainable production process.

Can I customize the shirt with a player's name and number?

This product guide does not contain information on customization options. Please check with your retailer for availability of personalized shirts.

What is the main material of the shirt?

The main material is a double face jacquard made of 100% recycled polyester, excluding trims and decorations.

How does this shirt compare to the adult version?

This is a kids' specific version, designed with appropriate sizing and features for younger wearers. While sharing the same design, fit and material specifications may differ from adult shirts.

Troubleshooting

Shirt feels stiff after washing

Ensure you are using a mild detergent and have avoided high heat drying. Try a gentle cycle wash and air dry.

Print or crest is peeling

Avoid direct ironing on the print. Ensure the garment is washed and dried inside out on low heat settings.

Sizing seems incorrect

Refer to the PUMA Youth sizing chart provided by the retailer. Consider the 'PUMA Youth: Recommended for older kids between 8 and 16 years' guideline. If between sizes, consider sizing up for a looser fit.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Keeps young players cool and dry with moisture-wicking technology.
Offers excellent freedom of movement for active sports.
Made with sustainable, recycled materials.
Features authentic team and brand detailing for true fans.
Comfortable for both training and casual wear.

Cons

Sizing is specific to PUMA Youth recommendations and may require careful checking.
Primarily designed for football activities; may not be ideal for other sports.
As a replica shirt, it is not designed for professional match play performance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This shirt requires no setup as it is a piece of apparel. It is designed for general wear and football activities. To maintain its quality and longevity:

Washing: Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colours.
Detergent: Use mild detergent.
Bleaching: Do not bleach.
Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for best results. Avoid high heat.
Ironing: Do not iron directly on prints or embellishments. If ironing is necessary, do so on a low setting inside out.
Care for Trims: Wash and dry separately from trims and decorations.
