Troubleshooting

Tablet won't turn on or charge

Ensure the included 9W power adapter is securely connected to both the tablet's USB-C port and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet. If the battery is completely drained, it might take a few minutes for the charging indicator to appear.

Wi-Fi connection is unstable or won't connect

Check if your Wi-Fi router is working correctly. Restart both your tablet and your Wi-Fi router. Go to 'Settings' > 'Wi-Fi' on your tablet, forget the network, and then try to reconnect. Ensure you are within range of your Wi-Fi signal.

Tablet performance is slow or apps are crashing

Close unnecessary background apps by swiping them away from the recent apps screen. Clear app caches in 'Settings' > 'Apps & Games' > 'Manage All Applications'. If the issue persists, consider restarting the tablet. Ensure you have sufficient free storage space; delete unused apps or move media to a microSD card.

Cannot download a specific app

Verify that the app is available on the Amazon Appstore. The Fire HD 10 runs Fire OS, which does not natively support the Google Play Store. If the app is not on the Amazon Appstore, it cannot be downloaded officially.
