Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unroll the Rug: Carefully unroll the rug in your desired location. Allow it some time to flatten out if it has been rolled tightly.
- Apply Rug Grip (Recommended): For placement on hard floors (wood, tile, laminate), it is strongly recommended to use a high-quality rug grip. Place the grip on the clean floor first, then lay the rug directly on top, ensuring it is centered and flat. This prevents slipping and helps keep the rug wrinkle-free.
Compatibility
The Maestro Vintage Woven Rug is designed for any area of the home, including:
- Living rooms
- Bedrooms
- Dining rooms
- Hallways and entryways (ideal for high-traffic)
- Home offices
Its versatile blue vintage design makes it compatible with a wide range of interior styles, from traditional to contemporary.
Care
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly without a beater bar or with the beater bar on the highest setting to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills and stains, do not machine wash or soak the entire rug. Instead, blot stains immediately with a clean cloth using only a mild surface shampoo diluted as per product instructions. Work from the outside of the stain inwards.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the polypropylene fibers and alter the rug's color.
- Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning or stubborn stains, consult a professional rug cleaner.
- Rotate Regularly: To ensure even wear and exposure to light, rotate your rug every few months, especially in high-traffic areas.
