Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your 1460 Cappers, ensure they are laced comfortably. Because the leather is robust, you may want to wear thicker socks initially to help stretch the material gently during the break-in phase. To clean the boots, wipe away any loose dirt with a damp cloth. Because they are crafted from premium calf leather, it is recommended to apply a high-quality leather conditioner periodically to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Avoid submerging the boots in water, and if they do get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the Goodyear welt.
