Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your 1460 Cappers last for years, follow these care steps:
- Break-in Period: Wear your boots for short intervals at home with thick socks to allow the leather to soften and mold to your feet.
- Cleaning: Use a damp cloth to wipe away dust and debris after each use.
- Conditioning: Apply a high-quality leather conditioner or leather balm specifically for calf leather every few months to prevent cracking.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can dry out the natural leather.
- Lacing: Ensure the waxed laces are threaded through all eight eyelets to maintain the intended structure and support.
