Full details
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 trainers are designed for adult male runners looking to increase their speed and achieve personal bests. The key benefit is the combination of a responsive nylon plate and PWRRUN PB cushioning for a fast, smooth ride. A potential caveat is that their performance focus may mean they are best suited for specific training or racing scenarios rather than everyday casual wear. These trainers offer a blend of lightness, reactivity, and stability, featuring SPEEDROLL technology for effortless forward momentum and a newly designed mesh upper for comfort during intense efforts.

FAQs
Who is the Endorphin Speed 5 designed for?
The Endorphin Speed 5 is designed for adult male runners looking for a fast, responsive shoe for intense training sessions and races. It suits those who want to push their pace and achieve personal bests.
What is the main benefit of the nylon plate?
The newly designed nylon plate works with the PWRRUN PB cushioning to create snappy transitions and a fast, energetic ride, making your stride feel more propulsive.
How does the SPEEDROLL technology help?
SPEEDROLL technology provides a unique rolling sensation that promotes effortless speed and a consistent forward-moving momentum, helping you run more efficiently.
Are these shoes suitable for everyday casual wear?
While comfortable due to the mesh upper and cushioning, their performance-focused design and plated construction make them best suited for running activities rather than general casual wear.
How durable is the outsole?
The Endorphin Speed 5 features increased rubber coverage on the heel and edges, enhancing durability for consistent performance during high-mileage training and racing.
What kind of cushioning does this shoe use?
It utilizes PWRRUN PB foam, which is a highly responsive and lightweight cushioning material designed to provide energetic feedback and comfort.
Can I wash these trainers in a washing machine?
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the materials and structure of the shoe. Clean them using a damp cloth and air dry.
Troubleshooting
Shoe feels too tight or loose.
Adjust the lacing system to achieve a secure, comfortable fit. Ensure you are wearing appropriate running socks.
Reduced responsiveness or cushioning after some use.
While PWRRUN PB is durable, extreme conditions can affect performance. Ensure shoes are clean and dry, and consider their total mileage; cushioning may naturally degrade over hundreds of miles.
Slipping during runs.
Ensure the outsole is clean and free from debris. If running on wet surfaces, be aware that no shoe guarantees perfect grip. The increased rubber on the Endorphin Speed 5 offers improved durability and traction.

Compatibility:
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 is designed for running on roads, tracks, and paved surfaces. They are compatible with most running sock types. No electronic compatibility is required.
