No, the Handball Spezial is designed as a lifestyle trainer and does not feature the cushioning or support required for running.
Gently brush off dry dirt. For tougher stains, use a product specifically designed for suede or leather care, depending on your specific pair's upper material.
The Handball Spezial generally follows standard sizing, though those with wider feet may prefer to try them on first or size up half a step for extra comfort.
It is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain, as moisture can damage the upper materials and affect the glue and stitching over time.
The sole is made of durable gum rubber, which is a hallmark of the Handball Spezial design, offering both a retro look and superior traction.
Use a specialized suede brush or a dry soft-bristled brush to gently lift dirt particles without damaging the surface.
Wipe the gum sole with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust or residue that may be affecting its natural grip.
To ensure your Handball Spezial trainers last as long as possible, regular maintenance is recommended. Since the design often utilizes premium materials like suede or soft leather, it is best to avoid heavy rain and mud. Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dust and dirt after each wear. If the shoes become wet, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent material warping. For storage, keep them in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees or paper stuffing to help them retain their signature shape when not in use.
