Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Clarks Bradley Free loafers last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Breaking In: These shoes generally require minimal break-in time due to the supple leather and flexible gore; however, wear them for shorter periods during the first few days to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust. For the leather upper, apply a high-quality leather conditioner every few months to prevent cracking.
- Footbed Care: The Ortholite footbed is removable. If the shoes become damp, take the insoles out to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees to maintain the structural integrity of the leather while not in use.
