Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Clarks Bradley Free shoes last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Breaking-In: While the leather is soft, wear them indoors for a few hours at a time during the first week to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape.
- Leather Care: Use a high-quality leather cream or conditioner periodically to prevent the tumbled leather from drying out or cracking. Remove dirt with a soft, damp cloth before applying treatments.
- Sole Maintenance: If the EVA sole becomes scuffed, a damp cloth with mild soap is usually sufficient for cleaning.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather fading. Use cedar shoe trees to help maintain the shape when not in use.
