Setup, Compatibility & Care
Fitting and Initial Use
Simply slip your foot into the trainers. Ensure you have adequate toe room (about a thumb's width) and that your heel feels secure without slipping. Lace them up firmly but comfortably to avoid pressure points.
Compatibility
These trainers are designed for versatility. They pair well with activewear for light workouts, or with casual attire like jeans, shorts, and t-shirts for everyday wear.
Care and Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Nike Initiator Trainers:
- Cleaning: For the leather material, wipe the surface gently with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution, then wipe clean. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove the insoles and air them out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or sprinkle baking soda inside when not in use.
