Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting your F50 Club FG boots ready is straightforward:
- Lacing: Begin by loosening the laces sufficiently to easily slide your foot into the boot.
- Fit Adjustment: Once your foot is in, tighten the laces progressively from the toe upwards. Ensure a snug fit across your midfoot and around your ankle without being uncomfortably tight. Double-knot for extra security during play.
- Break-In: Like most football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before competitive matches to allow them to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: Exclusively designed for Firm Ground (FG) natural grass pitches. Performance will be compromised on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces.
- User Group: Suitable for adult players, unisex design. Available in UK size 11 for this variant.
Care
Proper care extends the life of your boots and maintains their performance:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after playing, knock off any loose mud or debris. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the Fiberskin upper and outsole. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used on the studs. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Air dry your boots at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials and adhesives. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A boot bag can protect them from dust and damage.
- Odor Control: Use boot deodorizers or simply air them out thoroughly after each use to prevent odors.
