This Regatta Hot Shot II fleece is designed for active kids who need durable and comfortable layering for outdoor adventures. Its key benefit is providing lasting warmth and softness suitable for varying temperatures, though it may be less suitable for extreme cold as a standalone layer. Key features include its super soft and anti-pill fabric, and a convenient half-zip for ventilation.

The primary purpose is to provide a comfortable, warm, and durable layering option for children during outdoor activities and adventures.
No, the fleece is not waterproof. It offers warmth and breathability but should be paired with a waterproof outer layer in wet conditions.
Refer to the size chart provided by Regatta, but this specific guide entry is for a UK size 5-6. Measure your child's chest and height for the best fit.
It is best suited for spring, autumn, and mild winter days as a mid-layer. In colder winter conditions, it would need to be worn under a heavier coat.
'Anti-pill' means the fabric is treated or constructed to resist the formation of small balls or 'pills' on its surface, maintaining a smoother appearance over time.
Machine wash at 40°C, do not bleach, tumble dry on low heat, and iron on a low setting. Do not dry clean.
Yes, the fleece is described as 'super soft' on one side, making it comfortable for children's skin.
Ensure you are using a fabric softener designed for fleece and tumble drying on a low heat setting, which helps restore softness.
While designed to be anti-pill, excessive friction can still cause pilling. Ensure the garment is washed inside out and avoid washing with abrasive items like denim.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth and gently work the zipper back and forth.
Ensure you are following the care instructions, particularly regarding washing temperature and tumble drying settings. Avoid high heat, which can cause shrinkage.
Setup: This is a ready-to-wear garment. There is no setup required.
Compatibility: The fleece is designed for general outdoor wear and layering. It pairs well with t-shirts, base layers, and waterproof outerwear. It is suitable for children aged 5-6 years, fitting unisex.
