The Under Armour HeatGear Compression Short-Sleeve T-Shirt is a high-performance base layer designed for athletes who require moisture management and support during intense training sessions. Its primary benefit is the signature HeatGear fabric that offers lightweight coverage and rapid drying, making it ideal for warm-weather workouts. However, potential buyers should note that its slim, compression fit provides an ultra-tight, second-skin feel which may require sizing up if you prefer a more relaxed athletic aesthetic.

Yes, it is designed as a performance base layer, though it can be worn alone during training.
While the fabric provides coverage, it is primarily focused on moisture management and cooling rather than specific UPF ratings.
It is recommended to tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry to preserve the garment's elasticity and technical features.
It means the shirt will fit extremely snugly, like a second skin, to support muscles and provide a locked-in feel.
There is a write-in locker tag located on the back neck of the shirt specifically for this purpose.
Compression gear is designed to be tight; however, if it restricts movement or causes skin irritation, consider sizing up to the next available size.
Ensure you are using a detergent designed for athletic synthetic fabrics and avoid using fabric softener, which can trap oils inside the mesh fibers.
This shirt is a true 'put on and go' garment requiring no complex setup. To ensure it retains its compression and moisture-wicking properties, adhere to the following care instructions: Machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Avoid the use of fabric softeners as they can clog the moisture-wicking fibers. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for the best longevity. Because this is a slim-fit item, compatibility with outer layers is high due to the low-profile fabric that prevents bunching.
