Product Information

Full details

The Under Armour Tech™ ½ Zip Long Sleeve is a versatile training essential designed for active adults who prioritize comfort and moisture management during their workouts. Featuring the brand's signature UA Tech™ fabric, this shirt provides an ultra-soft, natural feel while effectively wicking sweat to keep you cool and dry. While it is engineered for high performance, users should note that the regular fit may feel looser than compression-style athletic wear, which is a consideration for those preferring a skin-tight feel.

FAQs

Is this shirt suitable for cold weather?

It serves best as a lightweight base layer in cold weather due to its moisture-wicking properties, but it does not provide heavy insulation.

Does the fabric shrink after washing?

When washed and dried according to the care label, the polyester material is highly resistant to shrinking.

Can I wear this for casual activities?

Yes, the streamlined fit and soft fabric make it comfortable enough for everyday casual wear beyond just training.

What is the fit like?

It features a regular fit, meaning it offers a balanced cut that is not too tight nor too baggy.

How do I determine my size?

Refer to your standard chest and waist measurements to find the correct fit within the Under Armour sizing guide.

Troubleshooting

Fabric holds odors after intense workouts

Wash the garment immediately after use and consider using a sports-specific laundry detergent designed to remove oils from synthetic fibers.

Garment seems to snag or pill

Avoid washing with items that have zippers, hooks, or velcro, as these can catch on the soft-knit polyester fabric.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Exceptionally quick-drying material
Versatile design suitable for layering
Soft, comfortable fabric against the skin
Effective sweat management
Modern, streamlined athletic fit

Cons

Regular fit may be too loose for those seeking compression
Polyester material can snag if handled roughly
Limited to a specific color palette

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maintain the integrity of the UA Tech™ fabric, machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can break down the technical wicking properties of the material. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles. This garment is designed with a regular fit; if you are between sizes or prefer a more fitted look, consider the specific sizing charts provided by Under Armour for their men's collection.
