FAQs
Can I use these boots on artificial grass?
No, these are designed specifically for indoor court surfaces. Using them on artificial grass will provide poor traction and lead to rapid wear.
How should I clean the boots?
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt. Do not machine wash or submerge in water.
Are these boots suitable for wide feet?
The Truco III has a performance-oriented slim fit. If you have very wide feet, you may find the initial fit snug, though they will conform slightly with wear.
Do these boots provide ankle support?
They offer standard low-cut support. The secure lacing system helps lock the midfoot in place for stability during quick turns.
Are these boots unisex?
While listed for male use, the sizing follows standard UK adult sizing conventions.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight during initial wear
Wear them for short periods at home to allow the synthetic upper to adapt to the shape of your foot.
Accumulation of dust on the sole affecting grip
Wipe the outsole with a slightly damp microfiber cloth before play to restore tackiness.
Laces coming undone during play
Ensure you are using a double knot or ensure the laces are threaded tightly through all eyelets for maximum tension.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Superior grip on polished indoor court surfaces
- Lightweight construction for maximum agility
- Secure lockdown fit via robust lacing
- Stylish and professional all-black design
Cons
- Not intended for use on outdoor grass fields
- Limited to indoor hard-court applications
- Narrow fit may require break-in period for some users
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best fit, ensure you select your correct UK size; the Truco III is designed to be form-fitting. When setting up for a match, tie the laces firmly but avoid overtightening near the ankle to maintain circulation. Compatibility is strictly limited to indoor court surfaces; using these boots on abrasive outdoor concrete or artificial turf will cause premature wear to the rubber outsole. To care for your boots, wipe them down with a damp cloth after each use to remove dust and sweat. Avoid soaking the boots in water or using harsh detergents, as this can degrade the synthetic materials and adhesives. Air dry them naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the material to warp or crack.
