The Stone Island Q100004 Soft Shell-R jacket is designed for the modern adult male who prioritizes technical performance and sustainable craftsmanship. This garment offers an exceptional balance of wind and water protection thanks to its laminated dual-layer polyester construction, making it an ideal choice for transitional weather and outdoor urban exploration. While it delivers elite comfort and durability, users should be mindful that the specialized fabric requires specific care to maintain its protective membrane and water-resistant properties.

The jacket features an 8000 MM water column rating, which makes it highly water-resistant and wind-proof, but it is not classified as a fully submersible waterproof garment.
It is an innovative coloring system that uses significantly less water than traditional dyeing methods, reflecting Stone Island's commitment to more sustainable production.
It is recommended to air dry the garment to protect the integrity of the inner laminate and the overall fabric structure.
Remove the badge before washing the jacket to prevent damage to the embroidery or buttons.
While the fabric is wind-proof and provides some heat retention, it is a shell jacket and performs best when layered with knitwear or thermal base layers in cold temperatures.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off. Consider using a technical fabric re-proofer safe for laminated membranes.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean the zip track with a soft brush to remove dust or debris.
To ensure the longevity of your Soft Shell-R garment, proper maintenance is essential. Always consult the internal wash tag for specific temperature settings. Generally, you should wash the jacket on a delicate cycle using mild detergent, ensuring all zips are closed before putting it in the machine. Do not use fabric softeners, as they can degrade the specialized water-resistant membrane. Air dry the jacket away from direct heat sources or sunlight to prevent material degradation. The jacket features standard Stone Island sizing and pairs well with layered knitwear or base layers for increased thermal insulation.
