Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started:
- Try Them On: Ensure you have the correct size. The `UK 10.5` size should feel snug but not restrictive. Wear the type of socks you'll use for play.
- Break-in Period: Like all high-performance football boots, the PUMA KING ULTIMATE requires a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the K-BETTER™ upper to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility (Playing Surfaces):
These boots are explicitly designed for use on Firm Ground (FG) and Artificial Ground (AG) surfaces. The conical stud configuration is optimized to provide reliable traction on both natural grass fields and modern artificial turf. Using them on surfaces other than FG/AG (e.g., extremely soft ground, indoor courts, or concrete) can compromise performance, damage the studs, and potentially void the warranty.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every game or training session, gently brush off loose dirt and grass from the upper and outsole. Use a damp cloth with mild soap (if necessary) to wipe down the K-BETTER™ upper. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources, as this can cause the material to stiffen or crack.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb excess moisture.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never machine wash or tumble dry your football boots, as this can severely damage the materials and construction.
