The Moncler Maya Hooded Short Down Jacket is an iconic, high-performance puffer designed for infants who need reliable warmth and weather protection during cold weather. Yes, the hood is detachable, providing extra versatility for different weather conditions or when using a car seat.
No, it is highly recommended to have this jacket professionally dry-cleaned to preserve the loft of the down and the integrity of the shell.
The jacket features a high-performance waterproof nylon shell designed to repel water and protect against snow.
Yes, the premium down insulation is specifically chosen for its superior thermal protection in cold climates.
Moncler sizing is typically consistent, but the fit can vary depending on the bulk of the clothing worn underneath the jacket.
Gently pat and shake the jacket to redistribute the down feathers evenly across the horizontal quilted sections.
Do not pull at the thread; use a small pair of blunt-nosed scissors to trim the snag, or consult a professional garment repair service.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the track and wipe the zipper teeth clean with a dry cloth to remove any debris.
To ensure the jacket remains in top condition, it should be stored in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably on a padded hanger to maintain its shape. Because of the delicate nature of the down fill and the nylon shell, the jacket must be professionally dry-cleaned; machine washing can cause the down to clump or the shell to lose its waterproof coating. When dressing your infant, ensure the zipper is pulled up smoothly to avoid fabric caught in the teeth, and always detach the hood if you find it interferes with infant head support systems or car seat headrests.
