Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your jacket performing at its best, adhere to these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a technical cleaner suitable for waterproof garments. Avoid biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the durable water repellent (DWR) coating.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. If the water-repellency weakens over time, a low-heat tumble dry may help re-activate the DWR treatment.
- Storage: Hang the jacket in a cool, dry place on a wide hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders and ensure the seams are not under unnecessary stress.
- Compatibility: The jacket features an adjustable hood and cuffs, making it compatible with various layering systems, such as a base layer or a light fleece underneath for extra-cold conditions.
