Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the jacket maintains its performance characteristics over time, follow these guidelines:
- Cleaning: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a technical cleaner designed for waterproof garments. Avoid biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR coating.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators. If the DWR coating stops beading water, a technical re-proofing spray can be applied to the exterior.
- Compatibility: The jacket is designed with a standard fit; if you plan to wear thick sweaters underneath, ensure you have checked the sizing guide to allow for comfortable layering.
- Storage: Hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid storing it in compressed spaces to prevent damaging the internal insulation.
