Full details

The Trakker RLX Bed Cover is designed for dedicated anglers who require additional thermal protection and comfort during extended overnight fishing sessions. It offers a significant boost in warmth through its high-quality insulation and soft fleece lining, making it an ideal companion for the RLX 6 Camo Bed System. While it provides excellent protection against the elements, potential buyers should note that it is specifically engineered for Trakker's RLX series, which may limit its versatility with non-brand specific bedchairs.

FAQs

Is this cover compatible with other brands of bedchairs?

While it may fit other standard bedchairs, it is specifically designed for the Trakker RLX 6 Camo Bed System to ensure the best fit.

Can I wash the Trakker RLX Bed Cover in a machine?

It is recommended to spot clean with a damp cloth. Machine washing can compromise the water-resistant coating and the internal insulation.

Is the cover waterproof?

The cover features a water-resistant Peachskin outer, which protects against moisture and condensation but is not fully waterproof in heavy rain.

How much does the cover weigh?

While lightweight for its warmth, it is designed for durability; exact weight can vary, but it fits easily into the provided compression sack for transit.

Does it come with a storage bag?

Yes, it is supplied with a compression stuff sack designed to minimize storage space in your fishing luggage.

Troubleshooting

Cover feels damp in the morning

Ensure your bivvy has proper ventilation to reduce condensation, and shake off the cover before packing to remove surface moisture.

Difficulty fitting the cover into the stuff sack

Ensure you are folding the cover uniformly to expel as much air as possible before rolling it tightly into the sack.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Provides superior thermal insulation for cold-weather angling
Soft fleece lining offers excellent comfort
Water-resistant Peachskin material is highly durable
Includes a convenient compression sack for compact travel

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up, simply drape the cover over your RLX 6 Camo Bed System. The dimensions are tailored to provide full coverage without excessive overhang, ensuring it stays secure throughout the night. Regarding compatibility, this product is part of the Trakker RLX ecosystem and is best paired with matching Trakker hardware for the most secure fit. To maintain the cover, ensure it is completely dry before storing it in the provided compression stuff sack. If the cover becomes soiled, spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid heavy machine washing to preserve the water-resistant coating and internal insulation loft.
