Full details
The Trakker Big Snooze Plus Sleeping Bag is designed for anglers and campers who prioritize portability and warmth in varied outdoor conditions. Featuring a plush fleece inner lining and a durable ripstop exterior, it offers an excellent balance of comfort and insulation. While it is highly versatile and easy to pack, users should note that its 3kg weight makes it better suited for base-camp style fishing setups rather than long-distance hiking or ultra-light backpacking.

Troubleshooting
Zipper feels like it is snagging
Ensure the anti-snag webbing is pulled tight away from the zipper track. If it still catches, check for stray threads or fabric caught in the slider.
Bag sliding off the bedchair
Verify that the center fixing strap is pulled taut and that both the head and foot elasticated hoods are fully seated over the bedchair frame.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Ultra-lightweight construction for easy handling
- Anti-snag zippers prevent midnight frustration
- Secure fixing points eliminate sliding on bedchairs
- Soft fleece lining offers superior comfort compared to standard liners
Cons
- Not suitable for extreme sub-zero alpine conditions
- The 3kg weight may be heavy for minimalist trekkers
- Stuff sack requires a tight roll to achieve maximum compactness
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the sleeping bag, slide the head and foot elasticated hoods over the corresponding ends of your bedchair, then secure the center strap tightly around the bedchair frame. This creates a stable platform. For care, keep the bag dry whenever possible. To clean, use a damp cloth for surface dirt or follow instructions for a gentle machine wash if the material requires a deep clean. Always ensure the bag is completely dry before storing it in the included stuff sack to prevent odors or mildew buildup. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
