Product Information

Full details

The Trakker Levelite Oval MF-HDR Sleep System is designed for serious anglers who prioritize ergonomic comfort and efficient space utilization on the bank. Its defining strength is the unique oval shape that maximizes interior floor space in modern fishing shelters, coupled with a high-density memory foam mattress for superior lumbar support; however, users should note that the robust frame construction adds a significant weight, making it less ideal for mobile anglers who change locations frequently.

FAQs

Can I fold the bed with the sleeping bag inside?

Yes, the system is designed to fold compactly with the sleeping bag remaining attached to the frame.

Is the sleep system suitable for all seasons?

Yes, the included dual-layer bag is rated for both 3-season and 5-season use by adjusting the internal layers.

How do I ensure the bed is flat?

Use the built-in spirit level on the frame to adjust the height of each leg until the bed is perfectly horizontal.

Is the memory foam mattress removable?

The mattress is integrated for stability, but the sleeping bag is fully removable for cleaning or seasonal adjustment.

What is the benefit of the oval shape?

The oval shape matches the profile of modern bivvies, allowing you to place the bed further back and reclaim floor space.

Troubleshooting

Leg adjustment feels stiff or sticks.

Clear any debris or dried mud from the leg collar and ensure the spring-loaded mechanism is free of obstruction.

Bed feels uneven on the bank.

Check the integrated spirit level and adjust individual legs until the bubble is centered within the markings.

Sleeping bag zipper snagging.

Ensure the bag is pulled taut across the frame and clear any loose fabric from the zipper track.

Highly stable with eight adjustable legs
Versatile multi-season thermal performance
Integrated spirit level assists in rapid setup

Cons

Substantial weight makes it difficult for mobile fishing
Larger footprint may require larger carryalls for transport

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the sleep system, unlock the two side-securing straps and unfold the frame until the hinges lock into place. Extend the eight legs by pressing the spring-loaded release buttons, adjusting each until the frame is level according to the spirit level indicator. The storage pouch can be clipped onto any part of the frame rail depending on your preference. For care, wipe down the mud feet after use to prevent dirt build-up in the adjustment mechanism. The sleeping bag can be removed for cleaning; ensure you follow the manufacturer's instructions for washing the hollow fibre filling to maintain its thermal properties.
