The RB2228-Black/Blue model features standard solid lenses. Please check specific SKU details if you require polarized options within the 2228 series.
Yes, the full-rim nylon frame is generally compatible with prescription lenses, though you should consult your optometrist for specific compatibility.
The RB2228 frames are constructed from high-quality, lightweight nylon, known for its flexibility and impact resistance.
Due to their geometric shape, they tend to look best on oval and round face shapes, though the unisex design is highly versatile.
Ray-Ban products typically come with a limited manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Clean both sides of the lenses using a clean microfiber cloth and a mild lens cleaning spray.
The temples may require a slight adjustment; visit an authorized optical shop to have them aligned professionally.
Wipe the nylon frame with a very small amount of mild, diluted dish soap and water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
To ensure the longevity of your RB2228 sunglasses, keep them in their protective case when not in use to prevent scratching the lenses. To clean, rinse the frames under lukewarm water to remove dust or grit, then wipe gently using a microfiber cloth. Avoid using paper towels or abrasive household cleaners, as these can strip the lens coating. If the frames feel too tight or loose, consult a professional optician to adjust the nylon temples safely without causing stress fractures.
