This specific RB2228 model features standard solid dark grey lenses, not polarized lenses.
The RB2228 series typically features a polished finish, giving the red nylon a vibrant and reflective appearance.
Yes, the RB2228 full-rim frame is generally compatible with prescription lens installation by most professional optical laboratories.
The frame is crafted from high-quality, lightweight nylon, selected for its flexibility and durability.
The geometric design has a wide profile; it is recommended to check the specific bridge and lens width measurements to ensure they are proportional to your face size.
Always store them in a hard-shell case to prevent pressure damage to the geometric frame geometry.
Visit an optician to have the temple tips adjusted for a more secure fit behind your ears.
Use a drop of mild dish soap and lukewarm water, then rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean microfiber cloth.
Use a precision optical screwdriver to gently tighten the hinge, ensuring not to over-tighten which can strip the threads.
To ensure your Ray-Ban RB2228 sunglasses maintain their finish and alignment, store them in the provided protective case whenever they are not in use. To clean the lenses, use only a microfiber cloth and a mild lens cleaning solution; avoid using paper towels or abrasive cloths, as these can create micro-scratches on the lens surface. If the nylon frames feel too tight or loose, visit an authorized Ray-Ban retailer for a professional adjustment, as nylon can be sensitive to improper heating techniques. Keep the glasses away from extreme heat sources like a car dashboard in mid-summer, as excessive temperature can warp the frame material.
