FAQs

What is the maximum weight for the harness?

The harness is tested for use with children up to 20kg, which supports Extended Rear Facing for a longer period.

Can this seat be used in any car?

The seat requires ISOFIX anchor points and a Top Tether anchor point. It is recommended to check the Cosatto vehicle fit list for specific compatibility with your car model.

How do I clean the car seat cover?

The seat covers are typically removable. Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Wash fabric covers by hand or on a gentle machine cycle, following the care label. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly.

At what age can I switch to forward-facing?

The seat can be used rear-facing up to 105cm (approximately 4 years). You can switch to forward-facing after this height is reached, up to 150cm.

What does i-Size certification mean?

i-Size (R129) is the latest European safety standard for car seats. It mandates rigorous testing, including mandatory side-impact and roll-over tests, ensuring a high level of safety.

How many recline positions are there?

The car seat offers 4 recline positions when used in the rear-facing mode for added comfort.

Does the headrest adjust?

Yes, the headrest is adjustable through 11 positions to perfectly fit your growing child.

Troubleshooting

Seat will not rotate 360 degrees.

Ensure the seat is in the correct mode (usually rear-facing up to 105cm) and that the seatbelt is not obstructing the rotation mechanism. Refer to the manual for specific rotation lock indicators.

ISOFIX connectors are difficult to attach.

Verify that the ISOFIX points in your vehicle are accessible and clear of debris. Ensure the connectors on the car seat are fully extended and aligned correctly with the vehicle's ISOFIX anchors.

Harness is not tightening properly.

Check that the harness straps are not twisted and are routed correctly through the backrest. Ensure the buckle is fully engaged and that there are no obstructions in the adjuster mechanism.

Seat feels loose in the vehicle.

Re-check the ISOFIX installation and ensure the Top Tether is securely fastened and tensioned. Confirm that all indicator lights or audible clicks signal a correct installation.
