FAQs

Is the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base included with the car seat?

No, the Acorn All Stages i-Size 360 Car Seat requires the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base, which is sold separately.

What is the minimum and maximum height for this car seat?

The car seat is suitable for children from 40cm (newborn) up to 150cm (approximately 12 years old).

Can I use the Acorn All Stages car seat without the rotating base?

The 360 rotation feature requires the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base. The seat can be attached to the base in a fixed position for travel, but the primary benefit of rotation is with the dedicated base.

How do I clean the car seat fabrics?

Most fabric covers are removable and can be hand or machine washed according to the care label. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap for minor marks.

What makes this car seat 'i-Size' compliant?

i-Size compliance means the seat meets the latest and most stringent European safety standards (ECE R129), focusing on enhanced side-impact protection and promoting longer rearward-facing travel.

Does this car seat have its own ISOFIX connectors?

No, the car seat attaches to the vehicle via the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base, which features ISOFIX connectors.

Troubleshooting

Car seat base not clicking securely into the vehicle's ISOFIX points.

Ensure the ISOFIX connectors on the base are fully extended and aligned with the vehicle's ISOFIX anchors. Push firmly until a click is heard on both sides. Refer to the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base manual for specific guidance.

Car seat not rotating smoothly on the base.

Check for any obstructions around the base or seat connection. Ensure the release lever for rotation is fully engaged. The seat must be in the correct position on the base to allow rotation; consult the manual for correct placement.

Harness straps are difficult to adjust.

Ensure the harness is not twisted. Check that the headrest is in the correct position for the child's height, as the harness height is often linked to the headrest. Release tension by pressing the harness adjustment buckle.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Cosatto Acorn All Stages i-Size 360 Car Seat requires the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base (sold separately) for installation in your vehicle.
