No, the Montes fleece is designed for warmth and breathability, not as a waterproof or weather-protective outer layer.
Yes, its lightweight and bulk-free design makes it an excellent choice for layering beneath waterproof shells.
Wash on a cool machine setting with similar colors and skip the fabric softener to maintain performance.
The fleece provides a comfortable fit that moves with you, though it is not a technical 'stretch' fabric.
Store in a cool, dry place. Hanging it up is generally preferred to keep it wrinkle-free.
Avoid fabric softeners, which can coat the fibers and degrade the fleece's insulating loft over time.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper teeth; if the issue persists, clean the zipper path of any debris or lint.
As a midlayer, this fleece is best paired with a moisture-wicking base layer and a waterproof outer shell for a complete outdoor system. To keep the fleece in optimal condition, machine wash it on a cool cycle with similar colors. Avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as these can impact the breathability and moisture-wicking properties of the fleece fabric. Hang-dry the garment away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the material.
